It all started with a dream
Born and raised in Vietnam, Chan Luu travelled to America to study business but ended up pursuing her dream of becoming a fashion designer. After studying at California's Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, she founded Chan Luu, Inc. in 1996 and began creating her own line of jewelry and accessories.
Chan came up with a product selection that featured unique, wearable, and handmade pieces with a modern edge. Taking inspiration from world cultures, nature, and a bohemian sensibility, Chan created contemporary pieces with an exotic flair and unique touch. Soon, people started to take notice, and the designer's jewelry and accessories started to become popular with the who's who in Hollywood and the fashion industry.
